BJP “Jan Sampark Yatra” concludes successfully

JAMMU, Mar 6: Twenty days long ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ of BJP, which started on February 15 last month at Panchayat level in rural areas, finally culminated with BJP senior leaders addressing the concluding public rallies in different Panchayats today.
Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith State Secretary Aseem Gupta and other leaders addressed public gathering at Surinsar on its culmination there. He spoke on the motive of taking out ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ in rural areas and said that there was overwhelming response from the people and hence the party succeeded in highlighting the achievements of Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre.
Minister for Animal & Sheep Husbandry Abdul Gani Kohli, along with local leaders and the district president, led the yatra for its culmination at Nowshera. He also addressed a massive gathering of the people drawn from the adjoining villages. He stressed upon the people to strengthen BJP so that more and more pro-people, pro-poor, pro-farmer policies are framed.
State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State secretary & District prabhari Adv. Vijay Sharma and MLA & Basohli district president Jeevan Lal led the Yatra of Basohli district to culminate at Phinter. Similarly, the Kathua district ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ culminated at Kathua city with the public address by Ashok Kaul, OBC Board Vice-Chairman Rashpal Verma and MLA Kathua Rajiv Jasrotia.
Ashok Kaul, while speaking at Phinter and Kathua, said that the recent agreement on resuming the work on Shahpur Kandi Project is indeed Narendra Modi’s one more gift for the districts of Kathua and Samba, which will prove to be beneficial for the rural population of these districts.
State general secretary Harinder Gupta, alongwith State vice-president & district Prabhari Rajni Sethi, district president Baldev Singh Billawaria, led the similar yatra to culminate in rural areas of Jammu district.
Meanwhile, BJP senior leaders addressed public gatherings while concluding the ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ in other districts of the State.
