JAMMU, Aug 8: BJP Kashmir (displaced) workers held a meeting at Party Headquarters here today which was presided over by Ashokji Koul (Org. general secretary).
Among other issues discussed. The meeting after discussing various issues also gave shape to Mahila Morcha.
Dr Indera was elected president of the Mahila Morcha. Other office bearer of the Morcha who were appointed by the President were approved by the organization general secretary. Kalpana Pandita and Dali Raina were appointed two vice presidents, Shashi Razdan. was appointed as general sectary, Sunita Kher and Parvindar Kour as secretaries, Radha Bhat as cashier.
This was followed by a general body meeting which was chaired by the President Dr Indera in presence of Mr Koul. Problems faced by displaced Kashmiri women were debated in detail. Members raised the issues of power cut shortage of drinking water deficiency of health care faculties, inadequate faculty of teaching staff in the migrant schools which have affected displaced Kashmiri women in general.
The issues of M form also came for debate in the meeting and the speakers stated that it was disgusting to have the condition of filling of this M form. The members denounced the concerned authorities for not removing this condition it was brought to light in the meeting by the speakers that the staff that deals in the election matters is biased and partial in discharging their duty.
