JAMMU, Aug 25: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir displaced district called on State Election
Commissioner, B R Sharma at his office rail head Complex here, today.
The delegation was led by Ajay Bharti ex MLC and State spokesperson of BJP JK UT. He was accompanied by district president KDD, Chand Jee Bhat, Seh Prabhari, Hira Lal Bhat election in charge, Rajeev Pandita and vice-president
Vimal Raina.
It demanded streamlining of displaced Kashmiri vote process including abolishing of M-Form for the coming Parliamentary and State Assembly elections.
The delegation also apprised the State Election Commissioner to allow the Kashmir displaced people living in Jammu Municipal areas for voting in Jammu Municipal election for getting them benefit of basic needs of lanes, drains, roads, water, electricity for which they are already paying from the last 32 years.
The delegation also requested for issuance of EPIC cards to all displaced voters.
