BJP KDD holds meeting, discusses strategy for Assembly elections

JAMMU, Aug 17: Following the announcement of the Assembly elections , BJP Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) convened a meeting here, today. The gathering included Mandal presidents, Yuva Morcha activists, and Mahila Morcha activists, reflecting the party’s preparedness for the upcoming electoral battle. The meeting was held under the leadership of district president, Chand Ji Bhat, in which Ajay Bharti, ex-MLC/Prabhari KDD, and H. L. Bhat, Seh-Prabhari KDD were also present.
Besides, the senior party leaders including both general secretaries M. L. Bhat and H. K. Razdan, vice president KDD/election Incharge, Rajiv Pandita, and vice president Sweety Koul also shared the stage.
In his address, district president, Chand Ji Bhat discussed the party’s ongoing activities and emphasized the importance of the party workers in ensuring the success of their assigned duties in the Valley’s constituencies.
H. L. Bhat, in his address, urged the cadre to prepare thoroughly for the elections and ensure maximum voter outreach. He emphasized the need for active participation to reclaim democratic rights, which have been hindered by the lengthy process of the M Form. Bhat also called on the cadre to remain vigilant against those spreading false narratives for personal gain.
Ajay Bharti, Prabhari KDD, urged the Karyakartas to maintain their faith in the party and its dynamic leadership. He criticized the NC, PDP, and Congress for their anti-people and particularly anti-Kashmiri Pandit stance when they were in power.
Rajiv Pandita presented a detailed report on data and election management strategies, while H. K. Razdan provided insights into the pattern and participation in the Habakadal constituency, assuring the cadre of full voter engagement in the area.
The proceedings were conducted by general secretary M. L. Bhat.
Other included vice presidents Anil Dhar, Rakesh Sadhu, Sanjay Bhat, Vimal Raina, and Chetan Wanchoo, as well as Mandal presidents B. L. Raina, K. K. Koul, P. L. Pandita, and Susheel Koul were present.
