BJP keen to upgrade underdeveloped areas: Shamsher

JAMMU, Nov 16: Rajya Sabha Member Parliament, Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that BJP is committed to upgrade undeveloped areas of State. While kick starting the blacktopping work of road at Muthi, Shamsher Singh said BJP has started a new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir.
Shamsher Singh Manhas along with BJP leaders kick started black toping work at Muthi today. BJP leader Bishan Sharma, Joginder Sharma of BJP Muthi, Paloura Mandal were also present. He said local populace will be benefited through this work.
Manhas said BJP is committed to fulfill all the promises made in election campaign. A number of delegations from Muthi, Paloura & Raipur met Manhas and highlighted problems being faced by their respective areas. He assured the people that their grievances should be addressed on priority basis.
Later he also convened meeting with Executive Engineer of R&B, Municipality & UEED and other officers of the concerned departments and give instructions to complete all the development works in stipulated time. He asked officers to upgrade lane and drains of Paloura and adjoining areas so that mission Swachh Bharat Abhiyan would be achieved.
