BJP kick-starts campaign from Mata Vaishno Devi seat

Reasi, Aug 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today launched its campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi constituency. The campaign was kicked off by Baldev Raj Sharma and Saraf Singh Nag, Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Reasi, after Baldev Raj received the party’s mandate.
The event witnessed the participation of several prominent BJP leaders and local representatives. Rajinder Mengi, Mandal Pradhan Katra, and Pawan Singh, Mandal Pradhan Bhomag, were present to show their support. Shiv Kumar Sharma, a State Executive Member, alongside District Vice President Ranjeet Singh and Manoj Sadhotra, were also in attendance.
The gathering included several former Block Development Council (BDC) members, namely Chander Mohan Singh and Ashok Singh Thakur. Their presence underscored the collective effort of the BJP to secure a strong victory in the upcoming elections.
In addition to the BDC members, the campaign launch was bolstered by the attendance of local Sarpanches, including Ashok Sharma, Lal Singh, Sudesh Sharma, Jarnail Singh, Mangal Singh, and Abhinash Singh, Sukdev Singh, Muhammad Sharif, Bodh Raj and Ashok Kumar. Their participation highlights the widespread grassroots support for the BJP within the constituency.
