SAMBA, Mar 2: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, launched its “Labharthi Sampark Abhiyan”- the beneficiaries contact campaign, in Samba in which the senior leaders of party will approach the existing Golden beneficiaries of Modi Government schemes.
Ashok Koul, general secretary (organization), J&K BJP, initiated the Abhiyan in polling booth 80, Chak Manga, in Samba Assembly constituency, in which, he approached the Golden beneficiaries, who have received the benefits of more than one beneficiary schemes of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government.
During this Abhiyan, Ashok Koul along with other leaders also interacted with a large number of families who have their own house now through PMAY Scheme.
He, speaking on the occasion, said that this whole exercise aims to know the exact number of beneficiaries at booth level, pursuit, and implementation of the schemes till the last needy person living in the society gets the benefits of the schemes. He added that this exercise will further strengthen the party’s approach to the needy and the neglected sections of the society. He said that this interaction provided a platform for beneficiaries to share their experiences and feedback regarding the PMAY scheme, aimed at providing affordable housing for all and other public welfare schemes.
Ashok Koul was accompanied by Samba district president, Kashmira Singh, senior leader, Amar Singh, Parliamentary Vistarak Inderjit, Mandal President Ankush Mahajan, district vice-presidents Vinod Singh Binni and Prabhat Singh, Abhiyan Mandal Sanyojak, Narinder Singh, and others.
Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP vice-president and in charge for BJP “Labharthi Sampark Abhiyan”, shared that today, the BJP launched the Abhiyan in 178 Mandals of Jammu and 28 Mandals of Kashmir across the J&K, wherein the party leaders at different levels led the campaign. He said that in this Abhiyan, the BJP activists, while approaching the beneficiaries of the Central Government schemes, will discuss the benefits of these schemes with them.
