JAMMU, Oct 31: Devender Singh Rana, a prominent business tycoon and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician, has passed away in Delhi NCR, according to sources close to the family.
Rana, the founder of JamKash Vehicleades, had made headlines recently after winning the Nagrota assembly seat with the highest margin in history.
As a BJP candidate in the Nagrota Assembly constituency, Rana was considered the wealthiest among all contestants in the Jammu division.
Prior to joining the BJP, he was affiliated with the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC).
