KISHTWAR, Sept 1: BJP leader and district vice president of the Party for Kishtwar district, Ravi Kumar Thakur has demanded proper security for party leaders in far flung areas of district Kishtwar.
Thakur who belongs to Dachan area of Kishtwar district said that despite his pleas the administration failed to provide adequate security cover to him as well as other BJP leaders working in remote areas of the district. He also demanded that proper security cover be given to him and his family at Dachan and a security picket be established at his residence in view of the previous attack on Parihar brothers and an RSS leader and his PSO in Kishtwar.
Thakur made an appeal to Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, D C Kishtwar, SSP Kishtwar and DGP J&K in this regard.
