JAMMU, Oct 27: The black topping of a road in Lower Thather area was inaugurated here today. The inauguration was done by senior BJP Leader, K D Singh in the presence of prominent citizens of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said the central dispensation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by giving equal stress on both rural as well as urban areas.
“Moving ahead with the agenda of overall development of every nook and corner across the nation, the party cadre is contributing in this direction at the grass roots level to augment the movement started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government to transform the canvas of the world’s largest democracy,” he said.
The senior BJP leader assured the people that the pace of development will continue in the Union Territory under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
This work was long pending demand of the residents of the area, which will now ease the moveability of both men and machine on that road.
The funds were provided by Public Works Department for that work.
Residents of the area were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
