BJP leader nominated as member Hajj Committee

Srinagar, Apr 2: Ajaz Hussian, a senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP leader), and DDC member Khonmoh, today promised that the Hajj pilgrimage facilities in Jammu and Kashmir would be significantly improved.
He made these remarks after being nominated as a member of the Hajj Committee of India, becoming the only member of the central committee from Jammu and Kashmir. “This is a great feeling and at the same time, puts an extra responsibility on my shoulders,” he told Excelsior.
Hussain said that he was overjoyed that the government had recognized his efforts and given him the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of this vital sector. “The party has reposed faith in me and will work hard to meet the expectations of both party and the people,” he said, adding that he has been working with people at the grassroots level and that this new role will give him more opportunities to help them.
He said that he would convene a meeting with his team to discuss the sector’s needs for improvement. “We will discuss the future course of action and the issues confronting the sector at the meeting, he said, “he said.
Hussain, became member of DDC from Khonmoh-II constituency in Srinagar’s Balhama area in 2020. He has been working tirelessly at the grassroots level.
The BJP leader said that he and his party would continue to work hard for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The BJP is gaining popularity among Kashmiris as they realize that it is the only party that can open new doors of development in the Valley,” he said, adding that he and his party will continue to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the party encourages more youth to join it because, unlike other parties, it respects and promotes hardworking youth. “This is a common man’s party because it does not belong to any family or clan,” he said, adding that youth should come forward to bring about the desired changes in society.
