JAMMU, July 14: BJP Kissan Morcha president, Omi Khajuria today demanded stern action be taken against those who are indulging in corrupt practices and fleecing people by taking huge bribe.
Addressing a meeting of Kissan Morcha activists at Damana today, he said corruption is eating up vitals of the society and some elements are thriving on corrupt practices whose activities need to be curbed with strong hands by taking drastic action against them.
Khajuria expressed his serious concern over the recent scams in Sub Inspectors tests and the allegations being made by the aspirants of Homeguards etc.
He said it seems that the people have lost the faith on the administrative setup as corrupt elements are still ruling the roost to defame the image of BJP under a conspiracy. He demanded that those involved in such acts be put behind the bars and their properties be seized immediately so that others will learn a lesson.
He said by cancelling the written tests the students who had qualified the same have been put to unnecessary trouble for no fault of theirs. Instead the kingpins of the scam be taken to task so that the others will learn a lesson.
