BJP leaders Neha, Ankush provide 105 ration kits for needy families

JAMMU, Apr 29: J&K BJP general secretary (Mahila Morcha) Advocate Neha Mahajan and BJP district Jammu general secretary Ankush Gupta who had committed to provide dry ration kits to more than 500 local needy families, handed over the first installment of 105 ration kits (approx. 15 kg each) to the BJP team of Ward 42, Nanak Nagar, which will further deliver the ration kits at the door steps of all the identified needy families.
The ration kits were handed over to BJP Ward 42 president Sumit Prashar in the presence of former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, J&K BJP general secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, J&K BJP Mahila Morcha president Sanjita Dogra, BJP district president Vinay Gupta, BJP Gandhi Nagar mandal president Neeraj Lucky Puri, BJP Yuva Morcha Gandhi Nagar mandal president Nayan Sunny Gupta, BJP district secretary Narendra Gupta and others.
Kavinder Gupta, while appreciating the efforts of Advocate Neha Mahajan and Ankush Gupta, said, “It has become necessary for all of us to take care of under privileged people in society like daily wage labourers, low-income as well as those locals who meet their livehood on daily earning basis”.
Sanjita Dogra said that the door to door distribution must be carried out in a humble approach and no needy family shall be left out while Ankush Gupta appealed the public to ensure that no one sleeps hungry in their neighbourhood and adopt at least one needy family in the neighbourhood and provide ration to them.
Advocate Neha Mahajan, while handing over ration kits to the Ward 42 BJP team members, requested them to maintain social distancing while delivering the kits at the door steps of the needy families and not to click any photographs while delivering the ration kits.
Ward 42 Nanak Nagar BJP president Sumit Prashar said that this step will be of great help to meet the daily requirements of many needy and local families of his ward.
