JAMMU, Sept 2: The BJP-led administration has failed to deliver its promises made with the people and pushed J&K into a state of despair.
This was stated by General Secretary of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and DDC Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony.
Addressing a public gathering here today, Tony called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to rally behind the Congress party and the INDI Alliance to end the hardships inflicted by the BJP.
“Congress is the only political force capable of providing relief and ensuring justice to the people, who have been burdened by the BJP’s misgovernance,” he said and added that the ruling party has ignored the real issues of the region, from unemployment to the deteriorating economic conditions and has instead focused on divisive politics to further its agenda.
“BJP has systematically dismantled the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. The people of J&K have been left in misery, with no proper infrastructure, rising inflation, and a lack of employment opportunities. The hollow promises of development have only led to frustration and anger among the people,” he said.
He emphasized that Congress has always stood for unity, inclusivity and the welfare of the people and further appealed to the public to support the candidates of the INDI Alliance in the forthcoming Assembly polls.
