JAMMU, Dec 15: State BJP Mahila Morcha, under the leadership of its president, Rajni Sethi visited various areas to meet general womenfolk in continuation of the country-wide programme of “Mahila Jodo Abhiyan” by BJP.
Mahila Morcha organized an impressive joining programme to strengthen women power of the party. Udhampur BJP Mahila Morcha, district president, Geeta Devi organized the function in presence of State general secretary of the Morcha, Sanjita Dogra, Neena Gupta, Prabhari & State secretary, State vice president, Neelam Nargotra, Vistarak Jugal, district general secretary Raj Thanda.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjita Dogra said that people from every section of society are eager to join the party to strengthen it. She added that BJP always fought for empowerment and the greater role of women in society. She said BJP is the only party that has represented women very fairly in every field. She added that BJP led NDA Government is working hard for bringing out overall development of the country.
She said to achieve the objective, Mahila Shakti is important for bringing PM Modi led BJP Government to power at Centre once again. She asked the Mahila Karyakartas to concentrate on winning of 2019 elections. She further stressed on the constitution of District Committees to work properly as the ruling BJP’s main focus is women voters ahead of 2019 elections.
Another programme in district R.S. Pura on “Mahila Jodo Abhiyan” was also held by the district president, Mahila Morcha, Neelam Sharma wherein Updesh Andotra State general secretary, Mahila Morcha and Prabhari said that the key to the success in 2019 lies with the Matru Shakti. She stressed that the leaders of the Mahila Morcha should work tirelessly to strengthen the roots of the party in the society and they must aware the people of the area about Centre & State schemes like Ujjwala, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Ladli Beti etc. She stressed, this Abhiyan will be a landmark in bringing the women power together in the nation building process.
Rita Sharma, Parveen Sharma, Babita, Shallu, Shakuntla, Anuradha, Champa Devi and other prominent were also present on the occasion.
