UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: BJP Mahila Morcha president, Sanjita Dogra, today laid stress on the functioning of the Mahila Karyakartas for the growth of the organization. While chairing the meeting, of district team of Morcha, Mandal presidents and general secretaries of Mandals and district at party office, Battalballiyan, Udhampur here, she said that today the party has grown and became the largest party in the world due to its ground level functioning.
She was accompanied by BJP district president, Puran Chand, Morcha general secretary, Updesh Andotra, media secretary, Prerna Nanda, spokesperson, Neelam Nargotra, secretary, Manu Sharma, district president, Morcha, Nisha Mahajan. The meeting witnessed discussions on various relief measures taken by Mahila Morcha activists during the Corona lockdown.
Dogra said that in the organization every Karyakarta (activist) has its own specific role and also appreciated the efforts of Matr Shakti which they displayed during the Corona Pandemic and said that Mahila activists of party have presented an example of serving the society while performing their party duties and not caring for themselves.
Sanjita Dogra stressed the women Karyakartas to make strong and persistent booth level working and encouraged them to ensure that the committees of prominent ladies are formed at every single booth. She added that the Mahila Morcha activists have to work hard for strengthening the organizational structure.
BJP district president, Puran Chand spoke on the future programme to be undertaken at different levels to get closer to the people. He also spoke on the importance of the regular meetings and interactions with the grass root activists. He appreciated the work of women activists and added that Mahila have been entrusted with very important task of the party. He appreciated the work of Matr Shakti in every field.
Udhampur Doda constituency, Prabhari Updesh Andotra asked the Mahila activists to reach the people at booth level and educate them about the developmental projects and welfare schemes and help them in availing the benefits of such schemes which have been launched for the social and economic upliftment of the poor and weaker sections.
