BJP Mahila Morcha holds silent protest against rape incident

JAMMU, Dec 6: Bharatiya Janata Party, Mahila Morcha of J&K and Ladakh today held a silent protest over the rape, murder of women Vet.
The protest near the Press Club Jammu was led by the President of BJP Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi and a large number of women activists participated in the demonstration. The protesters raised slogans against the outrage committed on a young women by a group of highly criminal minded and anti social elements.
The protesters raised serious questions over the state of women’s safety in Hyderabad and many other parts of the country where such heinous acts of violence are perpetrated against the women.
Rajni Sethi, while expressing her outrage over the incident, said that the women of this country are not going to tolerate such acts anymore. She expressed her satisfaction over the efficient work done by the Hyderabad Police in bringing the culprits to book and not allowing them to escape. She further requested the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President & Union Home Minister Amit Shah to make such strict laws that the rapist should be hanged on first hearing.
Former MoS & J&K Spokesperson, Priya Sethi said that there should be fasttrack courts for dealing with such acts so as to demote such acts. She said that no society can be termed as civilized where such heinous crimes still take place.
In this silent protest, Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma said that the whole country is in great shock that these types of shameful acts happen again and again. She called for much stricter laws for dealing with such odious felony.
In this silent protest, all office bearers and BJP Mahila Morcha District Presidents and their teams were present.
