BJP mastered art of spreading lies: Bhalla

RS Pura, Dec 7: Former minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today undertook a door- to- door campaign in favour of Congress DDC candidate from Miran Sahib Block, Chander Prabha at Panchayat Kirpind, Simbal Camp.
While campaigning in the area, Bhalla said that Congress has remained on the forefront for highlighting the issues of people of J&K, especially and he deserves to be extended full support. He highlighted the UPA-I & UPA-II Governments who extended all sorts of help to erstwhile State Government for addressing the issues of different sections of the society and remarkable development took place in Jammu and Kashmir during UPA regime at the Centre.
He appealed to the people to exercise their franchise in favour of Congress candidate Chander Prabha, as Congress guarantees for peace and prosperity in J&K and the country. He said that Congress believes in secularism and always promoted equitable development.
Urging people to reject the politics of hate, he stressed that Congress is the guarantee for development, peace and growth of common masses. He asked the people to defeat the designs of BJP. He said that ongoing DDC elections were the best opportunity to elect the true and honest representatives and appealed the people to ensure victory of Congress Candidates in Jammu and Kashmir with a thumping majority.
Bhalla said that despite running a high pitch electoral battle in Jammu, the sidelined and internally displaced lot of BJP campaigners have failed to impress the electorate in the ongoing DDC elections. He said that the internally displaced leaders of BJP are resorting to mistruth mongering and fabrication of facts in order to get coveted positions in the central Cabinet.
