BJP Migrant Cell for action against JKLF leaders

JAMMU, Feb 15: BJP Migrant Cell in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president Bharat Bushan Bhat (Gosani) while discussing the prevailing situation in the State demanded that JKLF, leader Yasin Malik be dealt under law for sharing the platform with Syed Hafiz of LeT in Pakistan and his passport be impounded.
He said Mr Malik and his JKLF was mainly responsible for the mass exodus of Pandits from Valley during 1989 and 1990 by indulging in selective killings. He demanded a constitution of a Commission to ascertain the reasons for mass exodus of Pandits from Valley and reopening of cases against all those JKLF leaders whose hands are soaked in the blood of minorities.
The meeting urged the Government to solve the burning problems of displaced Pandits including passage of Shrines and Temples Bill, implantation of employment package, providing of facilities to Jagti inmates and redressal of problems of over-aged migrant youth and traders.
