JAMMU, Mar 25: BJP State general secretary and MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia has sought strict action against Asiya Andrabi for purportedly flying Pakistani flag and singing Pakistan’s national anthem openly on the occasion of Pakistan National Day.
Expressing anguish over the incident, Jasrotia said that we should send Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Asiya Andrabi to Pakistan who are traitors and a major threat to our country. “It is high time that we took loyalty to our country seriously and take action on people like her who have been openly inciting violence against the Indian State for years,” he said adding that if you keep snakes in your backyard they will one day strike you!
Jasrotia suggested that we should send Asiya like people to Pakistan on a one- way ticket as they are openly for Pakistan but living in a much more conducive environment in India and feel they have the right to speak out against the very state that has given them a voice.
The BJP leader maintained that the people have voted for development and not for the few seditionists who are trying to keep a dead issue alive. “We need to start coming down hard on people who incite violence and openly vouch for Pakistan. There is no room for such people in India,” he said.
