BJP national leaders to join “Refugee Adhikaar Yatra”

JAMMU, Sept 21: The five-day long BJP’s “Refugee Adkhikkar Yatra” which starts from October 2 has gained lot of significance as half a dozen national leaders of the Party will join it alongwith its State president Jugal Kishore Sharma, State prahbari Avinash Rai Khanna, Legislative Party leader Ashok Khajuria, Party MLAs and senior leaders of the State.
This was stated by BJP State general secretary,  Rajiv Jasrotia while talking to reporters here today alongwith State press secretary Balbir Ram Rattan, publicity secretary Aseem Gupta and Prahari Refugee Cells Pt. Ashok Kumar Khajuria.
Jasrotia, who is incharge of the yatra, said that the 5-day yatra will start from village Keerian Gandyal in Kathua district and after passing through about 50 villages housing the population of refugees and covering two districts of Jammu Province  Kathua,  Samba and Jammu it will culminate with a massive rally in front of  Press Club here on October 6.
Jasrotia said among the senior national leaders former Chief Minister of HP Prem Kumar Dumal, Party vice presidents, Balbir Punj, Mukhtar Abas Naqvi, Laxmi Kant Chawla, BJP MP and a celebrity, Kirti Azad are also joining it.
He said in Jammu province 10-12 lakh refugees are putting up who included West Pak refugees, POJK refugees of 1947 and refugees of 1965 and 1971. They have been neglected by the successive State Governments and Party has decided to launch a decisive battle for their rights and seek justice for them.
