JAMMU, Aug 12: As the AIIMS Coordination Committee continues its dharna on High Court road, the ACC Chairman and president of Bar Association Jammu today asked ruling BJP to act before it is too late.
The BJP would gain people’s sympathy if it honours its commitment on AIIMS at the earliest. Any delay on its part would not be in its own interest,” he said while addressing the gathering at dharna venue.
Abhinav Sharma reiterated that the ACC was not against any political party and it was non-political movement being supported by all prominent civil society groups and various organizations. He informed the gathering that number of District Bar Associations of Jammu Province have decided to extend the strike till August 16th.
The gathering was also addressed by Narayan Singh, Senior Advocates Sham Sunder Anand Lehar, H L Sabharwal, Khawaaja, Babu Ram, Sunil Khajuria and others.
