Party Minority Morcha launches membership drive

JAMMU, Nov 7: A membership drive was launched at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu in the presence of Sat Sharma BJP State president, Ashok Koul State general secretary, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa president Minority Morcha, Munish Khajuria convenor Membership Drive, Bali Bhagat ex-MLA, Jasmeet Pandey vice president, Minority Morcha, Santokh Singh general secretary of Minority Morcha, Sanjne Bali, Pervaz Malik, Fareed Ahmed Fani and other senior leaders of BJP Minority Morcha
Sat Sharma spoke on the importance of the membership drive and asked all the Morcha members to fully devote themselves to the drive for the next month. He said that the BJP not only preaches but practices democracy in its actions and this ‘Sangathan Parv’ is an example of the commitment of the party towards the secular credentials and the democratic values of this great nation. He asked them to reach every picket and ensure the highest membership of the BJP among the minority communities.
Sat Sharma also asked the leaders of the BJP Minority Morcha to be aware of the present scenario of the Assembly session of J&K and said that every BJP activist must be ready to counter the malicious agenda of the NC Government.
Ashok Koul threw light on the importance of the membership drive and said that it is the backbone of our organization. He said that the BJP holds the distinction of number one political party in terms of primary membership in the whole world and this due to the dedication of the party workers who have set records in serving society and the needy people in every difficult situation. He asked the Morcha leaders to further the party’s mission to the community members and strengthen the organization.
Ranjodh Singh Nalwa assured the senior leadership of the party that the Morcha leaders will leave no stone unturned to strengthen the party, especially in the weak pockets, where the party has secured less votes in the recent Assembly elections. He also said that in these elections, the party has made inroads within the minority communities in the difficult areas, while emphasizing that the BJP has secured a good percentage of votes in the Kashmir region, attributing this whole success to the successful membership drive earlier.
