Sunil Prajapati, president, BJP OBC Morcha, who led the protest against Rahul Gandhi, slammed him and condemned his statement that PM Modi does not belong to the OBC category as the Modi community does not fall in the OBC category.
Prajapati said that Rahul Gandhi has no respect for the democratic institutions of the nation, and has time and again, insulted the highest Constitutional chairs and everyone outside the Gandhi family. The same Rahul Gandhi has been seen insulting the Indian Prime Minister even on foreign soils. He said that it is most unfortunate that Congress has always neglected and insulted the OBC community.
History stands to the fact that it was the Congress, which never favored the OBC community from the beginning and in J&K, the Congress-National Conference (NC) coalition Governments denied reservation to OBCs even when it was implemented in the whole country in 1993. It is the Modi Government that has provided reservation to OBCs in J&K for the first time with the passage of J&K Reservation (Amendment) Bill 2023 by the Parliament and made provisions for reservation to OBCs in Panchayats and Municipalities, said Prajapati.
Now when the Modi Government is providing equal opportunities in all fields to the OBC community amongst others and has ensured the development of every community equally, including that of OBC, Congress has created another narrative that PM Narendra Modi does not belong to OBC category and is misleading the public with false statements. BJP OBC Morcha on this occasion, asked Rahul Gandhi to apologize for his shameful statement.
Prominent among others who took part in the protest demonstration were Raj Kumar Tarkhan. general secretary OBC Morcha, Suresh Salgotra and Ravi Mehra vice presidents of OBC Morcha, Kewal Verma, secretary Morcha, Purshottam Kumar its Social Media secretary, Ashok Salgotra Morcha’s district president Jammu, Ram Pal district president Jammu South and other BJP workers present in the protest.
