JAMMU, Apr 1: BJP OBC Morcha paid floral tribute to Shaheed Prajapati, Ram Chander Vidyarthi, on his birth anniversary, who had laid his life for the nation on 14 August 1942, at the age of 13 years and 4 months.
He attained martyrdom while hoisting the Indian Tri Colour at the office of District Magistrate replacing Crown Flag in a bid to intensify the freedom struggle against the British Government as a part the Quit India Movement struggle.
The tribute programme was organized by Sunil Prajapati, State president BJP OBC Morcha at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
Munish Sharma, BJP senior leader, Dr Pardeep Mahotra , BJP media incharge Rajinder Chib, Pardeep Choudhary, Surinder Singh, Suresh Salgotra, Anil Balgotra, Ashok Salgotra paid floral tributes to the freedom fighter.
