*Launch ‘Youth Jodo, Booth Jodo’ campaign: IYC chief

JAMMU, Sept 12: All India Youth Congress president, B V Srinivas today asked the cadres of JK Youth Congress to launch “Youth Jodo, booth Jodo ” Abhiyan to strengthen Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing youth cadres of the party at party headquarters here today, after giving oath of office to newly elected president of PYC Aakash Bharat, Srinivas said that the task of Youth Congress is to carry to the masses the message and policies of leadership and Congress party. It is their duty to reach out to each booth and strengthen our units there.
He also stressed upon the need to effectively counter fake propaganda of BJP on the what’s university by strengthening our social media in order to bring truth and true history before people.
IYC chief said that BJP tries to divert attention of people on non- issues as all surveys and figures reflect BJP’s defeat in 2024. India and Bharat both belong to us , as it was incorporated in the Constitution when framed and our yatra last year too was Bharat jodo Yatra to counter the atmosphere of hatred & division created in the country by the BJP’s vote bank politics.
JKPCC chief Vikar Rasool wani lashed out BJP for its anti- youth and anti- poor policies and said that BJP is on its last leg, as people have made mind to throw it out of power in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere in the country. He said BJP betrayed youth and pushed them to large scale unemployment and unprecedented price rise due to huge taxations of all sorts. The people will teach them a lesson in the election as every section is annoyed & fed up with BJP.
Working president Raman Bhalla congratulated the new team and asked them to go to the masses to carry the message of congress party and leadership and counter false publicity of BJP.
PYC chief Aakash Bharat expressed gratitude to the leadership and the youth for reposing faith in him and assured to come upto their expectations.
Several Senior Congress leaders also graced the occasion while IYC office general secretaries I/C JK Jagdev Gaga, Amit Pathania; Ex- PYC chief Pranab Shagotra, outgoing president Uday Bhanu Chib, newly elected PYC office bearers, DYC and Assembly presidents attended the function.
