JAMMU, July 4: Former State president BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) paid rich tributes to Swami Vivekanand on his death anniversary at a program held at Talab Tillo area of Jammu West.
He was also accompanied by UT publicity secretary BJP Ayodhya Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion Sat Sharma said that the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts on education, universal brotherhood and self-awakening continues to remain unbroken even today. He said that he not only reinforced the spirit of nationalism in the country, but also enriched the whole world with the ethos of Indian culture.
He also stated that Vivekananda’s principles and his ideals continue to inspire the youth towards the service of the nation. “I bow before him on his Punyatithi,” he added.
Ayodhya Gupta said Swami Vivekananda had great faith in the abilities of the country’s youth and believed that only youngsters could provide the right direction and empower the nation in the times to come.
Mandal vice president, Deepak Kumar, Veena Gupta, Munish Rakwal, Kusum Gupta, Bablu Chand and several others were present in the program.
