BJP pays tributes to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

JAMMU, July 27: BJP J&K led by party general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul paid rich tributes to the former president of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here.
J&K BJP vice-president, Aseem Gupta, general secretaries and former ministers Sunil Sharma and Dr. D. K. Manyal and other party senior leaders were present on the occasion.
Ashok Kaul, while paying glowing tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said that he was unarguably one of the most popular presidents of India, popularly known as ‘Missile Man of India’. He said that Kalam Sahib made his unparalleled contributions towards the India’s scientific progress, teaching and guiding stints as well as in the India’s political image on the global platform. He said that the former President of India inspired people from all walks of life, not just in India but from across the world, particularly drawing affection from children and students.
Sunil Sharma threw light on the life history and the achievements of Dr. Kalam. He said that Dr. Kalam devoted his life as a mission in the service of the nation and the society. He said that his life as a student was very challenging filled with hardships and struggles. There was a time when he had to sell newspapers from door to door to support his family and education, but he overcame all the hardships to become an example for everyone.
Dr. Manyal asked the party activists to draw useful lessons from the life of Dr. Kalam. He said that as a true nationalist and an intellectual personality, he devoted his life for the welfare of the nation till his last breath. Dr. Kalam will remain as a role model for generations to come, he stressed.
Munish Shrama, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Ajay Vaid, Ankush Gupta, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Basant Raj Thakur, Gourav Pargal, Ravinder Singh Birpuria and others also paid tributes to the people’s president of India.
