JAMMU, May 26: PCC president GA Mir today said that BJP-PDP Govt has ignored the reserved categories while Congress was committed to provide justice to every section of society.
Addressing a function organized by Backward Classes (OBC) department of JKPCC at party office in presence of Khursheed Ahmed Choudhary AICC representative of OBC, here today PCC chief said that the OBC people who remained neglected and ignored by all successive Governments so far, shall not be ignored under the president ship of Rahul Gandhi. He appealed to the OBC people to raise their voice for their welfare and upliftment and said that Congress Party shall try to fulfill their expectations.

The programme was organized on the directions of AICC president Rahul Gandhi and Chairman AICC OBC Department Tamradhwaj Sahu. The main agenda of the programme is to consolidate and uplift the OBC people.
The OBC leader Advo Suresh Dogra also spoke on the occasion and promised his people that he will work for the welfare and upliftment of OBC community.
AICC representative of OBC department in-charge J&K State Ch Khursheed Ahmad after listening the grievances and problems of the OBC people assured them that all these problems shall be kept before the high command and the high command shall never disappoint the OBC people in the State as well as in the country.
Prominent among those who attended the programme included Prof Kali Dass, Mian Nizar Ahmad, Abdul Majid Malik (President AIBU), Vijay Kumar Manhas, Brij Mehra (President ABKMS), Rajesh Omi, Geeta Dogra, Parbodh Chander Jasyal (Rajouri), Smt. Poonam Rani, Dr Bhawan Dass, Krishan Lal and others.
