JAMMU, Dec 14: The elections of State BJP president will most probably be held on December 21 and 22 after the election process for the booth, Mandal and district bodies is completed.
According to BJP sources, the stage is set for the election of State president of the Party and they will most probably be held on December 21 and 22 as per the directives of Party High Command from New Delhi.
Sources said that the poll process of 60 Mandals out of 75 in the State is complete and the elections of remaining Mandals will be held within one or two days which will be followed by holding of elections to all 19 district presidents which will be completed by 17 and 18th of December.
Sources said that completion of election process of State presidents will be followed by the election of national president of the Party and the entire poll process, would be completed by ending December.
Confirming this, Harinder Gupta, Election Commissioner of the Party for the State said that the new State president will most probably be elected by December 21 and 22.
He said the organizational election process on the booth and mandal levels in the State is almost complete and the entire process will be completed in the State by December 22.
