JAMMU, Aug 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest against Public Works Department (PWD), MLA Raman Bhalla and demanded vigilance probe into the construction of Kiryani Talab-Narwal Road.
The activists of BJP under the leadership of Vikram Singh Randhawa held protest at Keryani Talab against the PWD authorities and MLA Raman Bhalla for their mismanagement in constructing around two kilometers long Kiryani Talab-Narwal road, which is in shambles due to heavy downpour.
While speaking, Vikram said that the road was constructed earlier in 1998 by Choudhary Piara Singh, the then MLA and was in dilapidated condition thereafter. Taking the cue before the Assembly elections, Raman Bhalla in connivance with PWD blacktopped the road, unfortunately the road is in shambles after thirteen days of its construction.
“State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) should intervene into the matter and facts should be brought to public”, he demanded.
