JAMMU, Jan 21: Stating that the “Vikas Sushasan Sankalp rallies” are getting massive response from the public, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma today said that the enthusiasm among the public is a clear indication that people want to get associated with BJP to further strengthen it as they are inclined towards its programmes and policies.
Jugal Kishore Sharma was addressing a constituency level gathering at Mendhar along with Pahari Board Vice-Chairman Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MLA Chander Prakash Ganga, Poonch district president Bansi Lal Sharma and other senior local leaders.
Sharma said that the people are getting themselves associated with the BJP as they have seen the rule of NDA at the Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State and realized that it is only BJP which has real concern for the development and welfare. He said that ‘PM Fasal Bima Yojana’, ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’, ‘Atal Pension Yojana’, ‘Mudra Bank’ etc. are some of the schemes which have been launched for women and the poor people. He said that in matters related to development, the NDA has stressed on improving infrastructure for connectivity, thus paving way for progress and prosperity.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta said that it has happened for the first time that the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch are getting their place in the scheme of things of the Central Government and the previous Coalition Government of BJP too gave these districts equal share in development and welfare schemes.
Chander Prakash Ganga said that the people had rejected NC and Congress and expressed their faith in BJP as they wanted a change for getting rid of the parties which had been neglecting and ignoring the needs and genuine demands of the people. He said that the BJP after forming coalition with PDP in the State, took sincere initiatives to serve the people and it worked to fulfil the promises of good governance and development. He also spoke about a number of schemes launched during 10 month rule of the coalition in J&K.
Jugal Kishore Sharma and Chander Prakash Ganga also chaired a meeting of party activists at Surankot and to have a feedback related to implementation of various welfare schemes.
Sunil Gupta, Pardeep Sharma, Ilyas Khan, Taj Khan, Master Shabir, Abdul Aziz Bhat, Zakir Malik, Davinder Tandon, Zulfiqar Pathan and Satish Sharma also addressed the gathering.
