BJP, regional parties did nothing for poor: Jayesh

JAMMU, Sept 6: Senior AAP leader, Jayesh Gupta has criticized BJP and regional parties of J&K for exploiting people here over caste, religion and regional issues during their rule in the past.
“People of J&K have tested the regional parties and even BJP and these parties did nothing for the poor but only exploited them over religion, caste and regional issues,” Jayesh said while interacting with people during door-to-door campaign in Nanak Nagar area of Bahu Assembly Constituency today.
During campaigning, the AAP leader listened to the issues of locals regarding roads, lanes-drains, water and hefty power bills.
He said that AAP is the Party of poor and underprivileged people.
“AAP formed Government in Delhi and Punjab and now a number of welfare measures have been taken for the people belonging to poor sections in these States,” the AAP leader maintained adding: “Now the turn is of J&K and Haryana as people here have already tested all other parties which only befooled them with false promises.”
Highlighting AAP’s achievements in Delhi under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Jayesh Gupta called upon the people to vote in favour of AAP ensuring a new era of development and prosperity in J&K.
