JAMMU, Nov 19: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released 5th list of candidates for the 6th, 7th and 8th phases of District Development Council (DDC) elections.
J&K BJP General Secretary Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal in consultation with party president Ravinder Raina, general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul and other senior party leaders made the announcement of the names of party leaders who are entrusted with party’s mandate for the 6th, 7th and 8th phases of DDC elections.
In the 5th list of candidates, BJP announced 5 candidates for DDC elections in Jammu region.
Haji Mir Mohammad will contest DDC election from Mendhar-B District Poonch, Haji Abdul Karim from Mankote District Poonch, Tasleem Akhter from Balakote District Poonch, Puran Chand Sharma from Udhampur-I and Kewal Krishan Sharma (Sarpanch) from Pouni-A, district Reasi.
