BJP releases documentary on Art 370, Praja Parishad history

JAMMU, Dec 31: Jammu and Kashmir BJP president, Ravinder Raina, along with MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul and other leaders released a documentary on Article 370 and history of Praja Parishad in the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir.
This documentary was also shown on the newly fixed LED in Nanaji Deshmukh Library. The LED will run this documentary on working days for the history loving people.
Dil Bahadur Singh Jamwal, convenor BJP Sawachh Bharat Abhiyan and T.K. Sharma, co-convenor of the Abhiyan presented this LED to the library.
Prof. Kulbushan Mohtra in charge Nanaji Deshmukh Library and Documentation Department, had organised the event.
Ravinder Raina, while speaking on the occasion, said that Nanaji Deshmukh Library is proving a great asset not only to the party but general public is also visiting here and taking benefit of books related to different subjects, particularly ones on historic moments and developments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ashok Koul said that the documentary released today is indeed a big source of information on Article 370 and the Praja Parishad movement and the readers will surely appreciate its contents and study material based on facts.
Prof. Kulbushan Mohtra, shared details about the books and the documentaries available in the library and informed that during the past five years, a number of research scholars have taken help in completing their thesis on various subjects from this library, which is a matter of pride for the party.
Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, former Ministers, Sat Sharma and Sham Lal Sharma, general secretaries Vibodh Gupta and Dr. Devinder Manyal, Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, former Minister, Priya Sethi, J&K BJP vice-president, Anuradha Charak, secretaries Arvind Gupta and Veenu Khanna, Mahila Morcha president, Sanjita Dogra, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, Jammu South district president Rekha Mahajan, Mahila Morcha spokesperson Pooja Grover were present on the occasion.
