Shamsher Singh Manhas said that there has been massive misuse of official machinery in the State. He said that the present Coalition Government under Omar Abdullah has totally failed to empower Pantheist as a result of which the Pinches and Serpents are feeling betrayed.
Manhas, while elaborating about the party’s manifesto, said if BJP candidates win and reach the Legislative Council, they will strive hard for the implementation of the 73rd Amendment of the Indian Constitution, seek monthly honorarium for the Pinches and Serpents besides adequate security for them. He said the BJP MLCs will also raise in the Council that all the Panchs and Sarpanchs across the State should be insured on premium being paid by the Government.
Making a fervent appeal to the Panchs and Sarpanchs to vote in favour of BJP candidates Manhas declared that the party will continue with its relentless campaign to fight for the real empowerment of Panchayats and will not allow the Coalition Government to keep the Panchs and Sarpanchs devoid of what they deserve.
