BJP remembers Sher-e- Duggar Pt Prem Nath Dogra

JAMMU, Oct 24: On the occasion of 129th birthday of Sher-e-Duggar & former National president of Bharatiya Jan Sangh (BJS) late Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, BJP organized a programme at Dogra Chowk, where a havan was performed which was followed by garlanding the statue of Pandit Ji and distribution of Prashad.
Leader of BJP Legislative Party & Jammu East MLA Ashok Khajuria, while remembering Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, said that this great son of Duggar land was the torch bearer of the voice of common and nationalist people in the State who always stood like a rock against the Kashmir-centric and separatist tendencies and worked to unite the people to fight for full integration of the State with the rest of the country.
BJP Kashmir Cell National Co-Convenor Chander Mohan Sharma said that the day coincides with the birthday of Late Kedar Nath Sahni Ji, who also had very close association with Jammu and Kashmir and was one of the leaders who had taken the mission of fighting the pro-Kashmir and anti-Jammu policies of the State Government.
State general secretary (Organisation) Ashok Kumar Koul, informed about the forthcoming “Accession Day” programmes to be organised at all districts on October 26 adding that at Jammu it will be held near the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh at Tawi bridge.
