BHADERWAH, Dec 4: While launching attack on BJP Government for its failure to fulfill their promises during elections and calling the Modi dispensation a “name changer”, MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta claimed that it’s merely “repackaging” the projects and policies initiated by the Congress-led UPA regime.
While talking to media persons at Bhadarwah along with other senior party functionaries today, Gupta criticized Central Government for playing politics on establishing National Institute of High Altitude Medicinal Plants (NIHAMP) at Bhadarwah by changing it’s name from National Institute of Medicinal Plants(NIMP), as this project was sanctioned before 2014.
The MLC alleged that after coming to power, present Government tried to change the location of project from Bhadarwah to other area, but after the instructions from High Court, which came on the petition (PIL) filled by Congress, the Government is going to lay foundation stone of NIHAMP at earlier proposed land in Basti area of Bhadarwah.
“It’s one of the dream project of Ghulam Nabi Azad, he sanctioned it at Bhaderwah for Jammu and Kashmir State during his tenure as Union Health Minister,” the MLC said.
He said now the Government is going to lay foundation stone at Bhaderwah in mid of December, but surprisingly they have changed it’s name as National Institute Medicinal Plants.
