BJP, RSS agenda creating divide, hatred among people: Sham Lal

JAMMU, Feb 25: Addressing a monthly Block Congress Committee meeting of Bhalwal Brahmna and Jourian Zone, Sham Lal Sharma, senior vice president JKPCC and Ex-Minster Congress  today lambasted on BJP and RSS and said BJP wanted to control everyone’s views and follow the agenda of creating divide and hatred among people.
Sham flayed Modi for being more focused on serving the interests of a handful on industrialists ignoring the plight of poor farmers and the down trodden.
He also fired a broadside at the RSS for trying to pose as the only patriot in the country and attacked the RSS of hatching design to create disruption in plural but harmonious for narrow political gain.
The former Minister said that while implementing the NFSA centre should ensure that there must not be any reduction in the existing Ration Quota of the State and those who are not covered under the Act should get the ration without any difficulty.
Urging Governor to ensure ration to the people on the same analogy they have been getting since decades, JKPCC vice president has called for revisiting the Food Security Act as it has become a contemptuous issue in its present form due to the wrong policies of PDP-BJP Coalition Government in the State.
Urging Central Government to ensure ration to those also who are not covered under the Act, he expressed surprise over the intentions of the PDP BJP Coalition while working on the Food Security Bill.
Mr Sharma expressed unhappiness over the forceful acquisition of land by the Army.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Kuldeep Raj Verma, Ram Swaroop, Subash Langer, Ch Sham Lal, Capt Madan Lal, Sarpanches and other prominent Congress workers.
