BJP rural expresses concern over power, water crisis

JAMMU, June 6: District BJP Akhnoor held a meeting at party office Dream City in which various problems confronted to the people were discussed. The meeting was chaired by party general secretary Bali Bhagat and it was also addressed by district president Sukh Dev Singh Jamwal and its general secretary Omi Khajuria.
The meeting expressed grave concern over increasing power cuts and said that power failure coupled with water crisis has added to the problems of people in this sweltering heat.
The meeting warned that in case immediate steps were not taken to better the power and water supply in the area the party will be forced to hold a massive agitation.
Earlier the party held a condolence meeting to pay tributes to former Union RDD Minister and strongman of Maharashtra Gopi Nath Munde who died in a road mishap in Union Capital few days back. Two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to departed soul.
