JAMMU, Sept 27: A monthly meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) SC Morcha, district Jammu South, held at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today in which the ongoing programmes were reviewed.
The meeting was chaired by Morcha district president, Umesh Kumar Gabbar in presence of former VC, SC, ST, OBC Development Corporation, Balbir Ram Rattan, Morcha vice-president, Rakesh Sangral and Morcha district Prabhari, Vijay Anand Gill.
Half a dozen youth of the community also joined SC Morcha and they were welcomed by the senior leaders.
Umesh Kumar Gabbar sought details of the month-long programmes being held in Jammu South district and the public response during the door to door campaign. He also enquired about ‘Mann Ki Baat’, a monthly radio programme, addressed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Rakesh Sangral introduced the new entrants into the Morcha. He said that SC Morcha is an important organ of the party and needs to be strengthened at grass root level.
Vijay Anand Gill stressed upon the Morcha activists in the meeting to get themselves well acquainted with the welfare schemes of the Government for the benefit of the SCs and share the same with the community members in the district.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Ramesh Kumar, Pawan Bhagat, Parveen Lata, Rajni Devi, Amit, Des Raj Thappa, Anmol Bhagat, Amit Bhagat and others.
