JAMMU, Sept 24: BJP has demanded registration of FIR against land mafia and influential persons who have grabbed public land through muscle and money power.
This demand was made by BJP State secretary Ghulam Ali Khatana along with convenor of trade and industry cell of the party Ch Vikram Randhawa, who while addressing a press conference has sought Chief Minister’s intervention, to direct the authorities to register FIR against land mafia kingpin, influential persons who have grabbed public lands and local water bodies etc. through muscle power and money.
The BJP leader alleged that many Ministers are themselves involved in illegal and unlawful possession of large chunks of Government and public land and inspired all dubious elements and land mafia to indulge in such activities.
