JAMMU, Sept 8: As a follow up of the decision taken in the State office bearers meeting presided over by BJP State general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, BJP has opened a bank account in Punjab National Bank, (PNB) Kachhi Chawni branch under the name of J&K BJP Aapda Rahat Kosh under account number 6135002100000675.
According to BJP State spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan this account has been opened in order to receive donations from the public for providing relief to the affected people, who have suffered losses on account of recent unprecedented rains and the resultant flash floods.
Anyone desirous of contributing in the relief related assistance can deposit any amount as per his capacity and the same will be further utilized for the noble cause, Balbir said.
He said the Party also set up helpline number 0191-2577036 besides email -id jkbjp.mediacell @ gmail.com and jammubjp@gmail.com.
