JAMMU, Jan 1: BJP State president, Ravinder Raina (Ex-MLA) and Th. Narain Singh, president Rajput Sabha Jammu were accorded a grand welcome at Jammu Airport on their arrival to Jammu from Delhi today after Th. Narain Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, at BJP national Headquarter, New Delhi in the presence of BJP national president, Amit Shah and other top national leaders yesterday.
Ravinder Raina and Th. Narain Singh were taken in a form of car, motor bike rally from Jammu Airport to party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here where enthusiastic workers of the party accorded a rousing reception to them amidst slogans like “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
Later a programme was organized at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar to formally welcome Narain Singh to the BJP family by its senior leaders. Ravinder Raina, while addressing the gathering, praised Narian Singh for his past endeavours for the nation and society. He particularly recalled his role in all agitations and social issues for more than a decade. He said that the contributions of Narain Singh in Shree Amarnath Ji land agitation, AIIMS and other similar issues have been extraordinary.
He expressed confidence that Singh’s organizational skills and the zeal to work for society and nation will help BJP to accomplish its mission of 2019 in both Parliamentary as well Assembly elections. Elated by the support of people in every single region Raina claimed that BJP will have its PM at Centre again and also it will get majority in J&K to give party CM for the first time in State’s history.
Raina said that year 2019 is very important for the party workers as “we have to shoulder responsibility to ensure that BJP again comes to power at Centre on its own as well as it gives its own CM to State of J&K.
Rajesh Gupta, former MLA, in his address, lauded the decision of Narain Singh for joining the party fold. He said that in all the past years, Singh has helped BJP and all the nationalist forces.
Narain Singh, in his address gave all credit to BJP State president, Ravinder Raina who brought him to party fold. He said that he was mesmerized by the hard work and sincere efforts being put in by PM Narendra Modi and BJP national president, Amit Shah and he could not desist from entering into the nationalist party.
