JAMMU, Mar 15: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has reiterated the commitment of party Government at the Centre for providing succour to the common people.
While addressing the people during his tour to Chib Mohalla, Vishwakarma Chowk in Ward Number 45 where he had gone to take stock of the problems being faced by the people living in the area he said that Narendra Modi led Government stands fully committed to provide succour to the common people right up to the grass root level.
During his interaction with the residents of the area, they apprised him about their multiple sufferings in general and particularly those related to the basic rather essential civic amenities in the area. They specifically demanded new power transformer to get adequate power supply especially in view of the Summer already on the threshold.
After listening the demands of the residents,
Kavinder Gupta instantly took up the matter telephonically with the authorities concerned and assured the people that an additional transformer will be installed in the locality within days and this would undoubtedly end their power woes.
The former Dy Chief Minister said that the BJP workers are out at the ground level marking their presence by remaining amidst the people, assessing their problems and resolving the same by taking up these with the concerned authorities.
Asserting that people are overwhelmingly happy with the incumbent Modi-led Government at the Centre, Kavinder exuded confidence that in the forthcoming Assembly elections people will make the 50+ target of BJP a success story so that it forms the Government in J&K on its own.
Later, Kavinder visited the residence of Tilak Raj, son of Diwan Chand of Vishwakarma Chowk, Rani Talab Digiana and handed over a tricycle to him. The former Dy CM also talked to the Red Cross officials telephonically, asking them to provide ‘walking sticks’ to the ‘specially abled person’. He assured to provide him every type of help and support in the near future.
