BJP to emerge single largest party: Raina

JAMMU, Oct 3 : Jammu and Kashmir’s BJP chief, Ravinder Raina today said that BJP will emerge as the single largest party on October 8 when results of J&K Assembly polls will be out.

Addressing a press conference here, today Raina said that for the first time in past ten years, J&K witnessed historic polls that saw record participation of people. “It was for the first time, that J&K has witnessed peaceful ever polls. I am hopeful that BJP will emerge as the single largest party and will form the Government on its own,” he said.
He said the way people voted, signifies that people have expressed faith in democracy and also in the vision of Prime Minister, Narendera Modi that entails—Sab Ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas and Sab ka Vishwas.
To a query, who would be the Chief Minister in case BJP wins with a majority, Raina said that it is not important who would be the Chief Minister. “What is important is that who wins with the majority. I believe that BJP will win with full majority,” he said.
He said the massive campaigning of Prime Minister, Modi, Home Minister, Amit Shah, Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath and BJP national President, J P Nadda in Jammu that saw massive participation of people, will bear fruit. “I am sure that not only in Jammu but also in Kashmir Lotus will bloom,” Raina said.
