BATOTE, Sept 11: The next Government in J&K and the Lok Sabha seat in Doda-Udhampur-Kathua will be of Bharatiya Janta Party.
Though surprising for some but this appears to be possible for the Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and J&K BJP Prabhari (President), Avinash Rai Khanna.
Exuding confidence Rai said this while felicitating the 25 new local entrants into the BJP who claimed to have switched over from the National Conference and Indian National Congress here today afternoon. The new incumbents also included some Panchs and locals.
Rai who was on his way to Kishtwar and Doda districts during the second day of his five day tour to J&K had halted here for a while.
He was accompanied by the BJP State President, MLA, Nagrota, Jugal Kishore, Ashok Chauhan, Yuva Morcha National Working Committee, President and J&K Incharge, Member, BJP, National Executive Committee and former BJP State President Dr (Prof.) Nirmal Singh, BJP, Yuva Morcha, District President, Rakesh Singh, Ravinder Raina, State Yuva Morcha President, Ramban District BJP President, Ramesh Kumar Sharma, State  Secretaries Munish Sharma and Pawan Khajuria.
“We will have to start working hard from today itself to realize this dream of BJP and strengthen the patriotic and nationalist forces to come upto the expectations of all those who want peace and development , ” said Rai. The development in J&K is not proportional to the inflow of money from Delhi and instead of the development of the state its ruling party leaders have developed, he alleged.
In his speech Jugal alleged that people in J&K are looking towards BJP as the Coalition Government has deceived youth, poor villagers and old. It has failed in providing pension, ration, sugar, LPG, rights to youth and the promised Government job to at least one middle pass member of each family.
