JAMMU, Mar 11: Bhartiya Janata Party has requested the people belonging to every nook and corner of Jammu to take part in the BJP’s ‘Secretariat Gherao’ programme to protest against the State Government’s discrimination with Jammu region on March 14.
Addressing a public meeting of prominent citizens of Trikuta Nagar, here today, State publicity secretary, BJP, Aseem Gupta requested all the people to take maximum participation in the protest and make it successful.
He said the discrimination was being done in every part of life with the people of Jammu by this NC-Congress Coalition Government which should be exposed and appealed the people to join hands with each other to protest against this discrimination with the Jammu region.
Vice-president of the Party, Uttam Singh requested the people to get ready for a strong agitation against the Government if discrimination with the people of Jammu continues.
BJP, spokesperson, Dr Jitender Singh, asked the people not to be afraid of the white cars with red lights, as the people who travel in these cars are public servants elected by the people and if they are developing their constituencies that is their Job.
He asked all the party workers to see their booth level work and requested the Jammuites to teach a lesson to the NC-Congress Coalition Government in the coming elections for their discriminative attitude with the Jammu people.
Prominent among others who spoke in this meeting were Tarseem Choudhary (Gandhi Nagar Mandal Pardhan BJP) and Surinder Mahajan (Gandhi Nagar Parbhari BJP).
