JAMMU, Aug 8: BJP is organising bike rallies, memorial cleanings, Vibhajan Vibhishika Samriti, ‘Tiranga’ hoisting under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ in connection with celebration of Independence Day, said Munish Sharma BJP senior leader and In charge of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan.
Sharma, along with Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media In charge, J&K BJP and Reema Padha, general secretary, Mahila Morcha & member Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan was addressing the media persons at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
The BJP is undertaking “Har Ghar Tiranga” Abhiyan on a large level to ensure ‘Tiranga’ is hoisted on every rooftop”, he said.
He shared that the J&K BJP has announced a committee comprising of BJP secretary Veenu Khanna, BJP Media In charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP Social Media In charge, Ankit Gupta, Mahila Morcha, general secretary, Reema Padha, and senior leader BJP Kashmir, Mudassir Wani to supervise the whole Abhiyan in the UT. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has expressed his desire in the mass level organization of “Har Ghar Tiranga” Abhiyan in his 112th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
Sharma said that while the common masses have paramount enthusiasm to hoist the ‘Tiranga’, the BJP will hold a series of such programmes at the Assembly constituency level across UT.
He shared that BJYM will conduct Tiranga bike rally on 11, 12 and 13th of August. He appealed to all the residents of the respective areas, especially to the youth to participate in these rallies. He mentioned that the participants of these rallies will be carrying ‘Tiranga in their hands. He said that on the 12, 13 and 14th of August, the BJP cadre will go to the martyrs and war memorials to clean the statues and pay floral tribute. They will also present Tiranga to the family members of the martyrs, he added.
Sharma maintained adding, BJP observes August 14 as ‘Vibhajan Vibhishika Samriti Diwas’ to pay tribute to all those souls who lost their lives in clashes during partition.
He said that BJP is undertaking ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ on 12, 13, 14 and 15th of August and stressed that the PM has appealed to promote children to hoist the ‘Tiranga’ to connect the imbibe spirit of patriotism in younger generation.
