KISHTWAR,Nov 21:Continuing with a hectic “block to block” campaign in the Assembly constituencies going to poll in the first phase of election on 25 th November, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh today held a series of public meetings in Kanthi, Desa, Senapati, Kandoth and Milaano before reaching Kishtwar on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public rally here tomorrow.
Soon after his arrival, the Minister reviewed arrangements for Modi’s maiden election rally in the ongoing J&K Assembly election campaign.
Earlier, addressing different groups of people at various places,Dr Jitendra Singh said, BJP is the only viable democratic option for self-respecting people, particularly in a State like Jammu & Kashmir, because here the other major national party, namely the Congress, has in its bid for power, helplessly succumbed to dynasty politics and yielded space to self-serving regional parties with no accountability .This has resulted in mis-governance,corruption,nepotism and rampant miappropriation of Central grants.
Dr Jitendra Singh claimed, BJP is not controlled by any dynasty and unlike several other parties, it is not a mother-son or father-son party. Modi has arrived as a lease of fresh air to liberate the masses suffering from suffocation of price rise, corruption and exploitation,he said.
In order to get the real benefit of the Modi Government at the Center,Dr Jitendra Singh said, people in the state will have to ensure that they vote for BJP in State Assembly election and instal a BJP Government in J&K also so that they can get full benefit of the rapid march to progress and development heralded by Modi led BJP.
Referring to the poor development of far-flung areas as a standing example of regional discrimination,Dr Jitendra Singh said , certain problems like poor road connectivity and inadequate health facility etc have remain unaddressed even after 66 years of independence.
Time has come to bid goodbye to present dispensation and welcome a new dispensation said Dr Jitendra Singh and appealed for a vote for BJP.
